Santa’s Cabin
Santa’s Cabin debuted in 2018 and an updated version was featured for The Best Santa Experience in 2022.
The Best Santa Experience now has five different themes, including a brand-new one, “Santa’s North Pole Lodge” coming in 2023! We’re always on the lookout for a new theme idea, so you never know what we might come up with next! We will rotate them from year to year.
In Santa’s Cabin, everyone will enjoy a wonderful time visiting Santa at his secret vacation hideout! Having another Magical Experience with Santa where Santa goes to relax is fun for both the kids and Santa Claus himself!
We think that being able to see what the theme looks like ahead of time will help you decide on what everyone should wear when you schedule your Santa Claus Experience each year.
It is very important to note, that at some point Santa will include your entire entourage in at least one photo, so you might as well all look great for what will probably be the cover of your beautiful storybook and your Christmas card!

Even Santa Claus Needs A Vacation
The current Santa’s Cabin backdrop is the same one that we use for Storytime with Santa and also for Santa’s Magic Workshop.
But, the backdrop is the only thing that’s the same about these three sets. In Santa’s Cabin, Santa has his favorite armchair, a rustic end table, beautiful Christmas trees, and of course, lots of toys and goodies to decorate the room.
When your kids arrive, they will probably share their wish lists with Mr. Kringle. Then, Santa will move on to several other fun activities. This, of course, will include the most important thing to every child. Checking to see if their name is on Santa’s Nice List! But that’s only the beginning of The Best Santa Experience!
Much More Santa Magic
By the time your magical visit with Santa Claus is complete, they will have seen some fun Christmas Magic from inside Santa’s Magic Toy Bag. They will hear Santa read “The Night Before Christmas” from Santa’s Magic Book right from his favorite chair. Santa will also show them how he finds their house on Christmas Eve on his Magic Globe!

Then each child, and maybe even mom or dad, will take to the skies for a fun ride on Santa’s Magic Flying Sled! Then they’ll share a very special treat of milk and cookies with Santa. There is also a good chance that there might even be a Magic Snowball Fight mixed in there too!
And every visit always concludes with presents from Santa Claus too! It’s an action-packed, fun-filled hour, and one that none of you will ever forget! And the best part of it all is that we’re raising money to help fight Cystic Fibrosis too! In 2021 alone, we raised over $6400 for CF!
Santa’s Cabin and Elf Michael’s Light Painting Magic
Our Santa Experience photographs look the way they do because of a photographic process called light painting. “Elf” Michael is one of a very small number of photographers in the world that knows how to do this. We’re also pretty certain that The Best Santa Experience is the one-and-only Santa Experience that creates light painted Santa Art.
It is not an easy process, and it’s very time-consuming to produce as well. But the finished artwork looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before.
That’s exactly why we do it! We want your entire Santa Experience to be like no place else. And we’re pretty confident that we accomplish just that, for every single family!
How Do They Do That?

This is how it works. Once our main camera is placed on our heavy-duty camera stand and locked into position. It won’t move for several weeks. When Elf Michael completes the light painting of the whole scene, he blends that image with one of the real walls and ceiling, which, of course, were also light painted. The resulting “Master File” will be the basis of each whole-scene photograph of every child, family, and activity that happens in Santa’s Cabin!

On the day of your visit to Santa’s Cabin, Elf Michael will be capturing images with that main camera while he’s also grabbing some cute video highlights from a second camera. Elf Joannie will be using a third camera to get close-ups of the action too!
There will be no shortage of images for you to select from to create your beautiful custom Heirloom Santa Storybook and Santa Wall Art afterward with “Santa Magic” added wherever it’s appropriate.
